Spiritual blindness is the condition that prevents human
beings of perceiving truth in all of its forms. In other words, all human
beings, no exceptions, have been born blind spiritually due to our first
parents wanton disobedience to God’s command. You may ask, what is spiritual
blindness? Spiritual blindness is total separation from God, and that is the
reason unbelievers can't see God, His son Jesus Christ, and they can’t
understand His word the Bible.
When
God created Adam, our firs parent from the dust of the ground in His own image
and likeness, God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Afterwards,
God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took
one of Adam’s ribs and made a woman, Eve, and God brought Eve to Adam to be his
wife.
Before our first parents Adam and Eve sinned, besides of
being equipped with the senses of sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch, God
also equipped us with the soul, which is the part in humans regarded as
immaterial, immortal, capable of moral judgment. The soul is also the interface
humans need to communicate with God Almighty. However, after our first parents
Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden their souls died along with the souls
of their offspring. Therefore, the line of communication between God and man
has been broken to this very day. In essence, till this very day the souls of
those born of women are as dead as doornails, and separated from the love of
God.
Consequently, God in His infinite love, wisdom, and mercy,
reached towards man by offering His sinless begotten son Jesus Christ as a
sacrifice of atonement by allowing Himself to be nailed to a cruel cross at the
hands of evil men, and through the shedding of His sinless blood offered as an
atonement for the sins of the whole world.
We can say with confidence that we who have been born again
through the miraculous rebirth of the Holy Spirit, we are no longer afflicted
by spiritual blindness, but we have been justified by God’s
grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ. Thus, Jesus
Christ is the gate and the way back to the Father as it was in the Garden of
Eden before the fall, and as indicated in John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten
Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does
not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of
God’s only begotten Son.”
In Christ and through faith in Christ we may approach God
with freedom and confidence. So, those of us who have been born again from
above and have been indwelt by the Holy Spirit can approach God with
thanksgiving, petitions, supplication, and if we ask anything according to His
will, God answers our prayers.
Which means that politicians have to convince millions of
people blinded by original sin that they are the right candidates for the job,
but the problem is those politicians are also blinded by original sin, and the
reason they are liars, cheaters, and deceivers, and would promise anything to
get them elected, such as claiming they are Christians while their bitter
fruits shows otherwise.
Let's take Donald Trump as an example, who is actually the
reflection of the typical American. In order to run for President Donald Trump
switched party affiliation from the Democratic to the Republican Party,
indicating that Trump lacks integrity and will do anything to get elected, and
Americans have been degraded to unthinking automatons, due to the godless

prayer recitation, Bible reading, and the Ten Commandments from every single

hand and cares nothing for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep
